Let Me Shine

I didn’t have anything stand out to me about Day 3’s readings.  Moving on to Day 4:

Matthew 5:14-16

14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Pastor Pete preached on this Sunday as a part of the new sermon series, Light.

Last year, he encouraged us that whenever we saw Christmas lights, to think ‘Let me shine.’  He modified that for this year:

Jesus is the light of the world.  Now let that light shine through me.

So, today, let’s go be light in a dark world.
